Started in the 1990s, after 20 years of development, Western Alloys has become the leading supplier in the field of non-ferrous metal and refractory metal of China. Now Western Alloys owns the most advanced equipment and skilled workers, has capability to fulfill large orders. Its clients are from all over the world including USA, Europe, Korea, etc.

What We Do

Western Alloys produces Tantalum, Niobium, Zirconium, Titanium, Vanadium, Rhenium, Hafnium and their alloys.
We can supply these materials in a wide variety of forms including sheet, rod, wire, strip, and tube in various thicknesses, diameters, widths and lengths at competitive prices according to customers’ drawing.
Our products are widely applied in different fields including aerospace, medical, electronics, superconducting materials, energy sources, national defense, military and petrochemical industries. Western Alloys can also provide the clients with a variety of custom processing service, including but not limit to custom material sizes and custom components.

History

Western Alloys was founded in 1998 by Dr. David Zhang who graduated from the Department of Materials Science and Engineering, Tsinghua University. After his graduation, Dr. Zhang has devoted his professional knowledge and passions for material science to the creation of Western Alloys. With the aim to become the leading member of non-ferrous metal field, the first office of Western Alloys located Shanghai in mainland China, together with our own factory.

In the initial stage of the company, Western Alloys was focusing on the development and manufacture of Tantalum and Niobium alloys. After over two decades of efforts and developing, the range of our products has expanded to several different sections and covers various fields. Now our product line covers Tantalum, Niobium, Zirconium, Titanium, Hafnium, Rhenium and Vanadium products and their alloys. And the gross area of our factory has expanded to 28,000 square feet.

Through the continuous efforts of the team and multiple years of growth and expansion, the company has become the industry leader at home and abroad. Our customers are from all over the world.

Now we are looking forward to establishing business relationship with more clients and aiming to become the best non-ferrous supplier in the industry.

What We Have

With a strong team of engineers and a group of skilled staff, and two self-owned factories of over 28,000 square feet, we guarantee fast delivery and superb quality of our products. Our QA department has the most advanced testing equipment in the world. We have set up our own laboratory. We have our own R&D teams and professional quality control team. Each batch of our goods will be strictly inspected before shipment.
Western Alloys is also certified with ISO9001 and follows ASTM, AMS, ASME and MIL standards.
