Application of Ti 6-2-4-2 alloy
Ti6242 alloy maintains high strength and good creep property under the temperature up to 540℃. Its permissible continuous operating temperature is 500℃.
It is mainly used in the manufacture of aero-engine compressor casing and aircraft skin.
