TC6
TC6 variety introduction
The nominal composition of TC6 titanium alloy is Ti-6A1-2.5Mo-1.5Cr-0.5Fe-0.3si, which is a good Martensitic α-β two-phase titanium alloy, containing α-stable element Al, isomorphic β-stable element Mo and eutectoid β-stable elements Cr, Fe and si, β stability coefficient KB=0.6.
The α/β transition temperature of the alloy is 960 ~ 1000℃. The use state is generally annealing state, and appropriate strengthening heat treatment can also be carried out. The strength of TC6 alloy at room temperature and thermal strength at 450℃ is higher than that of Ti-6Al-4V (Ti Grade 5) alloy.
This alloy also has good thermal processing properties and can be welded and machined in various ways.
